Making mole removal easy

Simple is the best kind of service.

We keep our prices and service as simple as possible by estimating clients with a flat-fee or trip based system that sets expectations to what you'll be spending right from the start.

Our systems are flexible to suit your needs.

Because we design our services to be per-system, we’re incredibly flexible when it comes to shifting the needed coverage for each yard. For example, some yards might require a few extra devices while only needing three of the five visits. Some yards might require the normal amount of devices, but a couple extra visits. Either way is no problem--we have a solution for you!

We don’t charge per mole!

We don't charge any extra for moles caught during use of our service, giving you the transparency to know what to expect from your pricing at the end when invoiced!

Licensed & Insured

Did you know a lot of mole extermination companies don't carry insurance. We think that's crazy! Good for you though, we are insured. Now, nothing should ever happen, and we've been doing this 30 years without having to use it yet, but it's there for everyone's peace of mind.

Commercial properties or public areas like parks are trickier. We'd love to estimate these online but with all the variables we think it's best to just contact us in the office for a proper assessment!

How much should I expect to pay for mole service?

Expect "Up-To" $375 but our average client spends $305*

Are you definitely going to spend $375? No, probably not. Could you spend more? Sure, but not likely unless your property is larger than a 1/2 acre or you have to go longer than the five visits, in which case the first five visits would still be under the $375 estimate. Some areas are more mole prevalent, have tougher soil types, or are more prone to weather shifting mole activities. However, we've been doing this for over 30 years and if we're able to pull out early, you'll get a discount on a sliding scale. This guarantees we're always doing our best to take care of you in the quickest and most effective way possible to get your property back to its pre-mole glory!

How is this price calculated?

*This price is based off our average client's invoice with a 1/2 acre or less property and on an In/Out 5-Trip weekly service system. Larger properties, more difficult locations, or varying areas of service may change estimate values. Price does not include sales tax. Last updated 9/1/23.

How does the In/Out 5-Trip System work? (a quick summary)

Get in and get out!

The in/out service is designed to be effective and efficient. We get on site and take out the mole problem you're dealing with. We also go after any moles that invade from the nearby areas right after the initial mole problem is controlled (which is quite common).

Weekly check-up

After the initial set-up we'll get you on the schedule for a weekly check-up. Each visit we'll assess the situation, adjust if needed, and give you a summary afterwards of what's happening on-site. Once the situation has been assessed as under control or we've gotten to the fifth visit we'll look at moving to the next step that we call "the end of the in/out service."

End of in/out service

For most clients the end of service means pulling up once you're mole free and hope you stay that way for as long as possible with a thumbs up from us. For others it may mean moving onto an extended system like add-on visits or maintenance service, but we'll let you know if we think that's the case and discuss options with you.

Note about early pull-out

A huge bonus for everyone is the sliding scale pricing system we use. It ensures that we are trying to get your mole problem controlled in the most effective way possible and at an overall lower cost whenever we can do it in less visits! However, if you're looking to get the full five visits and don't want us to pull early, that's perfectly fine as well. Just let us know and we'll make sure we don't pull out early even if activity stops before that.

How long does service take?

It's hard to say exactly. This is due to different soils, type of moles, current tunnel systems on site, or the surrounding area's activity. Most of our clients will use us for a five trip system or fewer, but some will need more. The pie chart breaks down by percentage what our average clients use for trips.

Will I need extended service?

Will I need more than the 5 trips on an in/out service?

Looking at the statistics, you probably won't need to go beyond the five trip service. However, being near a mole breeding ground, having a particularly fertile lawn to lure them in, or having the bad luck of moles just being in neighboring territory can dramatically increase the amount and duration of invading moles you'll deal with.

Add-ons or maintenance for extended service?

Assuming you need or want the extended service, each situation will still be very different. Often a couple weekly add-on trips will resolve an issue with a pesky mole that tunneled in towards the end of another service, but if you've got a situation with moles coming in over a longer period of time, then maintenance can give you that extended protection with further apart visits to keep the cost down. Generally we recommend if you're planning to use maintenance for longer than eight months, it would be a good idea to check out the year-round service.

When should I go year-round?

Are you having to deal with moles three times a year or more? Is it just in the spring to summer or are they popping up any time of year? If you're seeing moles come in three times or more a year and it's happening in three or four seasons, at that point it may be prudent to consider year round service for your property. Although most owners don't like to hear it, at this point it would make more sense to go year-round, especially since the moles can get taken out quicker, minimalizing damage to your lawn that will need repair and helping prevent even further mole invasions.

I'm mole free! ... Now what?

Clean up the molehills!

Congratulations on getting mole free! Now comes the cleanup. Stomp the molehills down, knock 'em over, or move the dirt to a better location, whatever works best for you and your lawn. This not only helps the look of your lawn but also gives you an easy way to know if new activity comes popping up right away! Keep in mind we won't generally do this for you as everyone takes care of their lawn differently and matching grass seed is near impossible for us. Hey, we're good at getting moles, not landscaping.

How long will I stay mole free?

This is a tough question and the short answer is it's Mother Nature. Statistically speaking you can expect between six and twenty-four months as an average but it depends on a lot of factors. Existing tunnel systems, mole areas nearby, construction, and yard treatments can all bring in moles quicker. Hopefully you stay mole free for a good long time... but we can never say for sure how long.

What if a mole comes back?

First thing to do is contact us right away! Clients that have already had us out (especially recently) and let us know when they get new mole activity generally have a better service experience than ones who wait. If we're able to get on top of the problem right away, statistically we're able to get the job done a little faster or with more efficiency the second time around. If you wait until the damage spreads or until it gets into the areas you most care about, it can lead to a similar issue to what you had before you called us the first time; but don't worry, we can help in that situation too!

What factors into the price?

Property size & mole activity

Of course, the first thing we consider is the current mole activity popping up on the property, but there's more to it than that. Pre-existing mole tunnels, surrounding areas with active moles, or difficult soil conditions like root filled gardens all also have an effect on service and how we have to approach it.

Equipment lease & maintenance

Did you know our devices go through an expensive and time consuming process to keep them invisible to moles? Well, it's true! Beyond even that we maintain our vehicles to make sure they're safe for our technicians every day and keep up on having high quality tools for them to use on site.

simple icon of clock hands with arow circle around it and blue background indicating labor and time

Labor & time

Like any service company, labor and time are big factors in how much we're going to have to charge. We go out of our way to hire the best to take care of our clients, and the best don't come cheap! Don't worry though, we structure our system so they're incentivized to get your job done quickly, effectively, and get those moles taken care of!

Payments accepted

We accept checks, money orders, and most major credit cards like Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Still have questions?

That's okay, we're here to help. Contact us in the office, we'll be happy to go over the system, explain pricing, and answer any other questions you might have!

We wanted to say this in a more humorous way, but were told that wasn't a good idea by people speaking in legalese we didn't fully understand... sigh. Well, we're not that funny anyway, otherwise we'd be like those rich comedians, not molecatchers.
