Because they depend on how far out your account is, what the yard is like, and where our route currently takes us. We'll give you our regular-high estimates of what service will cost in outer areas but for accuracy just contact our office and we'll be happy to look it up for you!
We keep our prices and service as simple as possible by charging a flat-fee/trip-based system. Generally speaking, customers will need 5 trips (about 1 month) of service with 1-3 areas serviced, all covered in our basic estimates below.
Because we design our services to be per-system, we’re incredibly flexible when it comes to shifting the needed coverage for each yard. For example, some yards might require a few extra devices while only needing three of the five visits. Some yards might require the normal amount of devices, but a couple extra visits. Either way is no problem--we have a solution for you!
We don't charge any extra for moles caught during use of our service, giving you the transparency to know what to expect from your pricing at the end when invoiced!
This price is based off our average customer in normal service area with a 1/2 acre or less property, needs up to 5 trips of service, and approximately 1-3 areas covered (average of 1-2 devices per area). Some situations need less trips, and a some will need more. We'll try to breakdown our system as best we can further below and the different options we offer. Keep in mind the best way to get an accurate estimate is to call our office at (253)926-0402.
It's hard to say exactly. This can be due to different soils, types of mole, current mole tunnels on site, or the surrounding area's activity. Most of our customers will use us for a five trip system or fewer, but some will need more. This pie chart breaks down what customers use by percentages to give you an idea.
It’s hard to say for sure, but probably not. Most customers don't need extended service beyond a 4-5 trip system. However, some environmental factors can change the time that you spend mole-free before needing another visit.
Usually customers will stay mole free for about six to 24 months, but this is Mother Nature. Some customers will be luckier and go even longer, some will have to see us back sooner. Whatever the case, the best defense is to take care of the mole problems as quickly as possible! This helps avoid a buildup of tunnel systems that could attract other nearby moles and prevents further damage to your lawn.
If you need extended service, or even if you just want us on site for peace of mind, we can help. We offer a maintenance service with visits every other week to extend coverage past the initial five trips. For constant mole issues, we also offer year round service, although very few customers need it.

For flexibility, we offer extras and add-ons to improve service. Keep in mind that most of our customers either won't need any of these on a normal service, or will only need them for a very limited period of time.
Are you one of the unlucky few that need more than 5 trips of service? That's okay. You can add consecutive visits per trip until your mole issue is solved (Usually between $60-$75/trip depending upon property)! If you’d prefer, you can also look at our maintenance/extended protection services.
Extra areas beyond the normal coverage are sometimes necessary (although not common). These areas can be set and pulled in addition to the normal coverage at $50 per month of service (broken down by trips used when not all visits are needed) and include up to two devices in them! This is great for adjoined neighbors that want to get set up under the same service or larger sized properties that need more than the initial number of areas covered.
Sometimes you’ll need an extra couple of devices to get the mole taken care of a in a covered area with above average activity, constantly moving moles, or to get a mole on site faster. In situations like that, we'll add devices to ensure it gets taken care of properly (broken down by trips used when not all visits are needed).
* All listed prices are based on an average account with a property size 1/2 acre or less, with light to normal mole activity, average of 3-6 devices, and 1-3 areas needed. All prices are estimated before sales tax. Larger properties or properties with higher activity may require extra devices or areas. Properties in outer areas may be more. Contact the office with any questions about pricing.
Not many of our customers will need us beyond five trips, but if you're one of the few who do, we offer extended systems for you. These systems are designed to be extensions of our 5-Trip service and are different from our longer-term Multi-Month services found below.
If you are done with the first five trips and still need service, we simply add on visits at the lower add-on trip rate. This gives us the ability to either pull as soon as the property looks mole free, or stay on site as long as you want. The price is usually going to be between $60-$80 / trip depending on property.
Some customers need or want continued protection, but don’t need consecutive weekly visits. In these circumstances, we can set you up on a service where we only come out every other week. Usually the cost is between $70-$90 a trip depending upon property.
Our Multi-Month service is set up-front and is intended for customers who need blocks of service for a minimum of three months. Seasonal Multi-Month services come with every other week visits, and are estimated on 1/2 acre or less properties with light to normal activity covering 1-3 areas to keep your yard protected from moles.
Seasonal Service broken down (as best we can) but any questions give us a call in the office:
• 1 set-up visit on the first month service (This will make your first month have 1 more visit than normal, but it's necessary to get the mole problem under control unless you're coming from a month system)
• 1-3 check & reset service trip depending on month (First & last month may only have 1 check visit depending on week cycle)
• 1 pull service trip on the last month (replaces a check visit)
Seasonal customers who see a spike in activity may want extra visits during their service (although it's rare). If this occurs, we offer it at the reduced add-on trip rate for customers although this is very rarely needed.
If there are extra areas needed (which is unlikely unless uncovered areas on a property become active and we need to now cover them under the service) then we can cover them for the cost of $20/trip per area and comes with up to two devices included!
If your property needs a few extra devices beyond the original amount prescribed in covered areas, we can accommodate that to keep your lawn mole free. The cost is $10/device per trip and extra devices can be removed when no longer needed.
If you're a customer that has mole problems in every season or just want that constant protection we have a service for you. Our year-round services come with every other week visits, and are estimated on 1/2 acre or less properties with light to normal activity covering 1-3 areas and our lowest rates to keep your yard protected from moles.
If you're a customer that has mole problems all year or if you just want constant protection no matter the season, we have a service for you. Our Year-Round service comes with two base trips per month and reduced rates if you need more added on. The first month of service may require a set-up add-on trip (only if you're not setting up from a 5 trip service).
Year-Round customers who see a spike in activity may need or want extra visits during their service. If this occurs, we give it to you at the reduced add-on trip rate (Usually $5-$10 less for trip depending upon service and area).
If there are extra areas needed (which is unlikely unless uncovered areas on a property become active and we need to now cover them under the service) then we can cover them for the cost of $20/trip per area and comes with up to two devices included!
If your property needs a few extra devices in covered areas we can accommodate that to keep your lawn mole free. The cost is $10/device per trip and extra devices can be removed when no longer needed.

We wanted to say this in a more humorous way, but were told that wasn't a good idea by people speaking in legalese we didn't fully understand... sigh. Well, we're not that funny anyway, otherwise we'd be like those rich comedians, not molecatchers.
